- How long will it take to fix our computer?
- It depends on the type of service you need. Some shops advertise " 2 hour service ". In reality, to do a "proper, thorough" job, it takes a little time. We do not like to shortcut your service. We always do a complete and thorough job. We make sure we address all your issues, the ones that you knew about and the ones that you didn't. Some repairs take 5 minutes and some take a few days. With our flat rate pricing plans you never have to watch the clock or worry about the price going up because it’s taking longer. Can't be without your computer?... We also have a loaner program to keep you up and running while your system is being repaired.
- If I take it to your shop, what should I bring?
- If you’re bringing a desktop, we just need the main "box" itself. No keyboard, mouse, cables or monitor. If you're bringing a laptop, we would need the laptop itself and the power cord.
- What are your hours and where are you located?
- We are open Monday - Friday 9-5. Weekends by appointment. After hours and emergency service is available. We are located on Gratiot Rd in Shields directly across from Wendy's restaurant.
- What is "Remote Service" all about?
- Remote Service is a great option for quick fixes or minor repairs. Broadband Internet connectivity is a must. The benefits are fast, immediate service at rates that are less than an On-Site visit.
- Would it be better to have an On-Site visit, or should we bring it into the shop?
- Some service calls are great for on-site visits....and unfortunately...some aren't. We recommend that you call us first and discuss your computer issues. After we ask you a few questions, we can usually tell whether it’s a good candidate for an On-Site call or an In-Shop service. Keep in mind that In-Shop service is usually the most economical option.
